Clean any debris out of your gutters and downspout traps.
Treat any exposed wood with a preserving agent.
Trim any trees that touch buildings or overhead lines.
Lubricate your windows and repair any damaged window glazing.
Replace worn weather stripping around your windows and doors.
Check for cracks in your home’s foundation, brick, or stucco.
Open hose bibs in the spring; close and drain them in the fall.
Inspect your roof for any loose or missing shingles.
