At Manor, we believe we're only as good as our last renovation. Our biggest indicator of success comes from the feedback we receive from our clients and our peers. Read what they have to say about us.
We usually receive our kudos in the form of rave reviews and word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied homeowners.
Recently, however, we've decided to begin entering select Manor projects in some of the construction industry's prestigious and highly competitive awards competitions.
Being named as a finalist or winner of a coveted prize such as a SAM award (one of the most prestigious of all home building awards ceremonies across Canada) means achieving the recognition of our peers while at the same time recognizing our skilled designers and developers for their imagination, dedication and superlative workmanship. Perhaps most importantly, it says to you the homeowner that we strive for nothing short of excellence in the work we do, and we are proud to display it for scrutiny and assessment by industry professionals.
2007 marks our first year of entry into an awards competition. We will proudly showcase all forthcoming nominations and awards on our corporate website www.manorrenovations.com.

"We started the process of finding a renovator in the spring of 2010 by interviewing and getting quotes from four different contractors. Manor wasn't the lowest priced, however we were struck by both their ability to understand our vision and their professionalism. Throughout the renovation, Manor was patient with us and very understanding when we made some late stage changes.
Good communication is something that we truly value, and we feel that Manor places a priority on this as well. Communication was frequent and clear, and they were always honest and forthcoming with opinions and suggestions. However we never felt pressured to choose one option over another. It particularly impressed us that Manor was not afraid to say "I don't know, but will find out for you".
As happens in most renovations of any scale, hiccups can and will occur. Manor was good at adapting and finding some creative solutions to ensure work progressed when we encountered some supplier challenges.
Overall we are very happy with the work done by Manor. Of the many highlights, some of our favorites would be the design work, and the craftsmanship on the custom cabinetry and finishing carpentry. We have recommended Manor to friends and family and plan to use them again on our next phase of renovations."

"This was my first experience with a major renovation and my project manager, made the process much less stressful than I had imagined it would be.
He was very patient in explaining and outlining the nature of the work involved the timeline and the budget. His staff and subcontractors were professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with.
The end results were outstanding and on budget.
I've already recommended Manor to several friends and have even begun to research my next renovation project with them.
Thanks to everyone at Manor Renovations for a great job!"
"Thank you, we are extremely pleased with the final product and very much appreciated the care and attention to detail that Manor and others provided."

"After reviewing several renovating companies we chose Manor Renovations. From the design phase with the designers to the finished result with the contractors and the sub-trades, we are very happy with the quality and workmanship that Manor Renovations provided in renovating out home.
Like any renovation there are setbacks; however, they were all handled in a very professional and timely manner that was to our satisfaction.
The communication during all phases of the renovations was stellar. We always know at every phase of the renovation the work that would be done.
The trades that come to work in our home were friendly, courteous and worked very hard.
We are glad that we chose Manor to handle our renovation project and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering renovating their home.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Manor Renovations for a job well done. We love living in our newly renovated home."

We decided on using Manor Renovations to complete a major renovation on our 1958 bungalow after interviewing 3 contractors and checking references.
We had a smaller renovtion completed 15 years ago so were somewhat aware of the process. However, this renovation was more complicated and ended up taking much longer than we had imagined. We were too idealistic but adapted to the reality - quality work takes time!
The initial estimate for the renovation was 12 weeks to complete but it took 19 weeks. There were a few reasons: changes, additions and some sub-trades were difficult to line up. We moved out of our home for 5 months and it was worth it - we are very happy with the final product. The quality of workmanship that Manor provided was excellent. We got to know the Manor employees as they were very personable; willing to discuss and explain options and they all had high standards: Rick, Mark, Derek and John.
When you decide on a major renovation you have to expect some additional costs. It is your decisions and choices that impact the cost. Accept them and enjoy the final product!
Manor did a great job of keeping us in the know as to what was happening at every stage of the project. They were honest and realistic and communicated with us frequently to ensure the finishes met our expectations.
Based on our experience we are pleased to recommend Mark and his team.
